Which dental software plan suits your clinic
Most clinics comparing the two paid plans are really deciding one thing: whether they need the clinical side or only the front-desk side.
The limited plan keeps appointments, prescriptions, invoicing, payments and reports. It suits a practice that wants to stop running the diary and the billing book on paper, and nothing more.
The recommended plan adds examinations and investigations, treatment plans, dental charting, transactions, inventory, revenue share and accounting. If charting and treatment planning are the reason you started looking at software, the limited plan will not do what you came for.
Use the free month to find out which you are. It unlocks everything, so you can see whether you actually reach for the clinical modules.
Commercial terms
- Priced per clinic per month, not per user; staff logins are not charged per seat.
- No setup fee and no onboarding or data-import fee.
- No long-term contract; a clinic can move from the limited plan to the recommended plan at any time.
- The exact amount and payment route are confirmed with the clinic before billing.
What no plan includes
On every plan, Dentrah does not process UPI or connect to an Indian payment gateway, has no ABDM or ABHA integration, and has no GST tax module. Clinic data is not hosted in India, and support is provided from Pakistan, in English, over WhatsApp and email, Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM IST. The dental clinic management software overview explains each limit in full.
Working out whether dental software pays for itself
At about ₹690 a month, the question is narrow: does it recover about the value of one routine procedure? For most clinics the answer comes from three places rather than from a feature list.
- Outstanding balances you cannot currently total. Part payments in a book are the most common quiet loss in a single-chair practice.
- Associate commission disputes. If you pay a treating dentist a percentage, arithmetic both sides can see removes an argument. See how dentist commission is calculated.
- Stock that runs out mid-procedure or expires unnoticed.
Measure those three during the free month rather than browsing features. That is the number that decides it.
